Traffic ManagerAs a Traffic Manager, your duties may include:Responsible for organizing, directing and controlling all functional areas and associated resources related to mission accomplishment.Planning, directing, coordinating, managing and reviewing all actions pertaining to transportation logistics support for the National Institutes of Health.Manages and directs all aspects of the NIH transportation program by developing and implementing strategies.Provides program oversight to assure economical and efficient operational support and integration of new or changing transportation logistics.Direct and supervises a staff of approximately 24 federal employees and multiple contract staff- including two Supervisory Transportation Management Specialists.Resolve highly complex and controversial technical and administrative problems and develop policy for guidance in future situations.
